Council President Young and Maryland Aging Secretary Gloria G. Lawlah will hold a press conference to announce Baltimore’s efforts to reduce senior unemployment with help from the federal government’s Senior Community Service Employment Program. The program was created as a way to offer subsidized training for low-income adults 55 and older who are unemployed and have poor employment chances.
